Redpath Africa has completed numerous, technically challenging projects across sub-Saharan Africa
Redpath established its footprint in South Africa in partnership with Siyakhula Sonke Empowerment Corporation (SSC Group). The synergies and strength of the relationship between the companies have enhanced the growth of both entities. Redpath Mining Africa continues to develop strategic partnerships with local companies to provide sustainable employment opportunities to the local workforce in the areas in which we operate.
In 2019, Redpath Africa Limited and Thonket Mining Services, an opencast mining contractor, joined forces to form Redpath Thonket - a joint venture aimed at underground mining clients in West Africa. Redpath Thonket is recognized as one of Ghana's leading mining contracting and engineering firms. Critical elements of Redpath Thonket's vision include the facilitation of skills transfer, wealth generation for locals and the creation of a Ghanaian legacy.
