Redpath Australia's involvement as Site Operator in this project includes the entire underground and surface operations, and the associated facilities management on site.

Glencore’s Lady Loretta Mine is situated 150 km by road north-west of Mount Isa in remote Queensland. The high grade Pb-Zn (lead-zinc) orebody is mined at a rate of 1.6 metric tonnes/year which, once crushed and loaded onto road trains by Redpath, is hauled by road to Glencore’s processing operations in Mount Isa.

Mining activities include production, drill-and-blast production, loading and hauling, development drill and blast, development rehabilitation, fibrecrete application, mechanized cablebolt ground support drill-and-install, services and paste-reticulation installation, road maintenance, pastefilling, surface ROM management and crushing, and finally, facilities management.
