Mine Development
Redpath developed 12,368 m, completing up to 500 m/month with one set of equipment.
The project consisted of ramp development and pre-production development of the QDD Lower West underground zone mineral deposits, leading up to full mine production.
The work included shop, office and warehouse complex construction, installation of ground support, advance and permanent auxiliary services, as well as installation of ventilation supplies.
The project had a national training program. The workforce consisted of 80% nationals and 20% expats.
